Did you ever notice? I mean, everything? Look around. Up, across, down, behind you. You get it. Everywhere
What do you see? Yeah, you see it all now, don't you? You never took time to notice before, did you? Don't feel too bad; neither did I. Nor did your folks, or your grandparents. Do you think the world would be like it is if they did?
I am sitting against a big, broad tree right now. The bark is rubbing into my head, but it is kind of soothing. I don't know why. Perhaps I am in more pain than I realised. I like rubbing my head against a knot, then bringing it off and fingering the itching pain. Then back again. Too much perhaps, my head is warming and I don't know if it is blood or not.
So. The sky. There really is nothing else to look at to blow your mind. Too late to blow my mind now. The tree will do that for me.
Do I wish I had looked up before? I am not sure, but it doesn't really matter now.
My head is murmuring its numbness now.
My other arm is feeling cold now, but I don't need to look down. There are no birds in the sky, which is sweet, they only spoil it, showing off.
I hope a leaf falls down on me. That would be sweet
